David Burketh will join Future Star Racing for the 2022 season of the F4 United States Championship.

INDIANAPOLIS (February 24, 2022) – David Burketh will join Future Star Racing for the 2022 season of the F4 United States Championship. He joins FSR teammate Mac Clark, who will compete in F3.

I have enjoyed working with David watching his progress already,” said Al Unser Jr., director of competition and driver coach at Future Star Racing. “Everything I have seen so far tells me that he is definitely a future star, and I am excited about what 2022 will bring for him and our program.

2022 will be 18-year-old Burketh’s first full season in the F4 U.S. Championship. He drove a partial season for Alliance Racing in 2020 after completing the Lucas Oil School and competing in the 2019 Lucas Oil Shootout.

I am so grateful for the opportunity that Mark and Alora McAlister have provided me,” says Burketh. “I am honored to be a part of their vision as a Future Star Racing driver. Having the guidance of a true motorsports legend like Al Unser Jr. is the icing on the cake, and I am looking forward to learning all I can about racing from the entire FSR organization. Can’t wait for the season to start!

The F4 U.S. Championship season kicks off Friday, April 8, at NOLA Motorsports Park. You can catch the F4 U.S., and FR Americas racing action live exclusively through the SVRA app for most events. Additionally, weekend and yearly subscriptions are available for individuals or groups. The subscriptions will transfer to the F4/FR app once they are downloaded.
